What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 29, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $4,328.95, which includes rent arrears, costs from the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenants must also pay $39.45 per day in compensation for occupying the unit after August 18, 2020 until they vacate. If the full amount is not paid by August 29, 2020, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
