What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling
The tenancy will be terminated on February 10, 2023 unless the Tenant pays $16,261 by January 31, 2023 or $19,411 by February 10, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must pay the Landlord $11,556.86 plus daily compensation of $103.56 starting January 17, 2023.
