What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques. The Tenant did not void the N4 Notice by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $16,706.00 by July 30, 2022. If not voided, the Tenant must move out by July 30, 2022, and pay $10,969.00 plus $65.75 per day from July 5, 2022, until move-out. The Tenant may make a motion to void the order if full payment is made before the Sheriff enforces eviction.
