What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 23, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $16,335.34 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $60.82 per day starting November 13, 2021 until they vacate the unit. The Tenants must also pay $186 in application fees. If the Tenants pay $17,586 on or before November 23, 2021, the eviction order will be void and they can remain in the unit.
