What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord provided evidence of numerous complaints about the Tenant's disruptive behavior, including excessive noise, harassment of other tenants, vandalism, and profanity, which resulted in multiple police calls.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective October 24, 2022. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $4,802.92, which includes compensation for use of the unit, the application filing fee, and interest if the amount is not paid by October 24, 2022.
