What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's actions that seriously impaired the safety of other residents in the building, including stealing a resident's cell phone, entering another resident's unit without consent, and throwing a cleaning abrasive in another resident's face.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective December 4, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $186 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 4, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
