What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 27, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $15,432.55 plus $44.05 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting February 17, 2023 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 27, 2023, they will owe interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
