Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued on October 8, 2021.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective December 11, 2021. The Tenant must pay $2,422 in rent arrears and $6.15 per day in compensation for use of the unit from November 1, 2021 until move-out. If the full amount is not paid by December 11, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
