What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice of Termination, which the Tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 31, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $7,849.88 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $186 in application fees, by March 22, 2021. If the Tenant does not make this payment, they will owe interest and the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
