What happened

Tenants applied for an order to determine if Landlords harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with them. The Landlords sent multiple N11 agreements and emails, and converted a parcel of land used by Tenants for recreation into agricultural use.

The ruling

The Tenants' application is granted as the Landlords harassed the Tenants. The Landlords must pay the Tenants a rent abatement of $503.20 and $48.00 for the cost of filing the application, for a total of $551.20. If the Landlords do not pay by the due date, they will owe interest and the Tenants may deduct the amount from future rent.
