What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit in order to demolish the unit.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before July 14, 2022. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for enforcement. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $8,300.16 (less any money already paid) for compensation for use of the unit from December 1, 2021 to June 16, 2022, less the rent deposit and interest the Landlord owes on the rent deposit. The Tenants shall also pay the Landlord $41.92 in daily compensation for use and occupation of the rental unit until the date they vacate.
