What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet certain conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by December 18, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $1,613.35 (less any payments made after the application was filed) for rent arrears and application costs, less the rent deposit. The Tenant must also pay $36.15 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting December 8, 2021 until the Tenant moves out.
