What happened

The Co-op applied to the Landlord and Tenant Board for an order to end the occupancy of the member unit because the Co-op Member did not pay the regular monthly housing charges, ceased to qualify for occupancy, and abandoned the member unit.

The ruling

The occupancy of the unit by the Co-op Member is terminated as of December 23, 2014. The LTB consents to the withdrawal of the C-1 application and the issues relating to damages and ceasing to qualify on the C-2 application. The merits hearing scheduled for April 21, 2015 is cancelled.
