What happened
The Co-op applied to the Landlord and Tenant Board to end the occupancy of the member unit and evict the Co-op Member due to non-payment of regular monthly housing charges and persistent failure to pay the charges on time.
The ruling
The Co-op Member's occupancy rights are terminated effective November 30, 2015. The Co-op Member must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Co-op $6,669.98, which includes rent arrears, NSF charges, and the application fee, less the refundable deposit. If the Co-op Member fails to vacate or pay the full amount, they will owe additional daily compensation and interest.
