What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant or someone the Tenant permitted in the unit engaging in activities that seriously impaired the safety of others in the building, as well as wilful damage to the premises.
The ruling
The Tribunal found that the Tenant or someone the Tenant permitted in the unit engaged in activities that seriously impaired the safety of others in the building, and determined that it would be unfair to grant the Tenant relief from eviction. The tenancy was terminated effective October 9, 2021, and the Tenant was ordered to pay the Landlord $186 for the cost of filing the application.
