What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Tenants did not attend the hearing. The Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective October 21, 2021, due to rent arrears from May 1, 2021, to January 31, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 8, 2022, unless Tenants void the order by paying the specified amounts. Tenants must pay $2,185.43 plus $26.30 per day from January 29, 2022, until move-out, and $186.00 for application costs. If full payment is not made by February 8, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement.
