The ruling
The tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must move out by April 2, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $8,756.52 (less any payments made after the application was filed) which represents the rent owing up to March 22, 2023 and the cost of filing the application, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $70.52 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting March 23, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
