What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous LTB order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must vacate the unit by January 21, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $3,829.94 (less any payments made after the application was filed) for rent arrears, the previous application fee, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $22.52 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting January 11, 2023 until the Tenant vacates.
