What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant disputed the arrears amount claimed by the Landlord, and proposed a repayment plan to preserve the tenancy.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $8,481 in arrears and costs through a repayment plan over 10 months. The Tenant shall also pay the lawful monthly rent on time. If the Tenant fails to make any payment, the Landlord may apply to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant.
