What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant had paid rent late, underpaid, or failed to pay since December 2020, but had been paying on time for the last few months.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the rent in full no later than the 1st of each month from January 2022 to December 2022. If the Tenant fails to make any payment, the Landlord may apply to the Board for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $186 for the cost of filing the application.
