What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to wilful or negligent damage to the rental unit. The Landlord also claimed compensation for the damage and for each day the Tenants remained in the unit after the termination date.

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $8,316.80 for the reasonable costs of repairing the damage caused by the Tenant Emily Horner Wasson's negligence, as well as $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by January 17, 2022, they will owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
