What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. As of the hearing date, the Tenants were still in possession of the rental unit.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying the specified amount. If not voided, Tenants must move out by September 18, 2022, and pay $8,606.48 plus $39.45 per day from July 22, 2022, until they move out. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting September 19, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
