What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The Tenant did not prepare the rental unit as required to allow for pest control treatment.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 14, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $150 remaining from the previous application fee, plus $17.42 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting March 4, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the full amount is not paid by March 14, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest starting March 15, 2021.
