What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous LTB order. The Tenant claimed she could not make the payments due to an issue with the Landlord's payment portal, but agreed to pay $10,000 by the hearing date.

The ruling

The previous order was set aside on the condition that the Tenant pays $10,000 to the Landlord by February 13, 2023. The Tenant is then required to pay the remaining $2,202.50 in arrears through monthly $400 payments until August 2023, as well as pay the lawful rent on time going forward.
