What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to allegations that the Tenants were operating an illegal liquor delivery service from the rental unit between 2002-2007. The Landlords presented evidence from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, but the Tenant denied operating the business from the rental unit.

The ruling

The Landlord's application is dismissed. The evidence is insufficient to establish that the Tenants committed an illegal act or permitted an illegal business to be carried out on the residential premises.
