What happened
Tenant applied for an order determining that Landlord or Landlord's agent substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex by the Tenant or by a member of the Tenant's household. The incident occurred when Landlord's 93-year-old father accidentally struck Tenant's boat trailer and shed while plowing the adjacent field.
The ruling
The Landlord is ordered to pay the Tenant $73.17 for compensation for damaged property and $50.00 for the cost of filing the application, for a total of $123.17. The Landlord must pay the full amount by April 5, 2019, or will owe interest on the outstanding balance.
