What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant had paid all outstanding arrears of rent up to July 31, 2021 before the hearing. The only outstanding amount was the cost of filing the application.

The ruling

The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay by November 19, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
