What happened

The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective August 31, 2017. The Tenant must pay $1,396.44 to the Landlord, which includes rent arrears up to the termination date and the cost of filing the application, less the rent deposit and interest on the deposit. If the Tenant pays $3,000 on or before August 31, 2017, the eviction order will be void and the Tenant can remain in the unit.
