What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's smoking in the rental unit, which substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the residential complex by the Landlord and other tenants.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective April 4, 2016. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $170 for the application fee. If the amount is not paid by April 4, 2016, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
