What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The previous order EAL-85515-19 is cancelled. The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenants must move out by July 6, 2021. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $7,495.00 for rent arrears and application fees, plus $27.95 per day for compensation for use of the unit from June 26, 2021 until the Tenants move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by July 6, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
