What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as per a previous order. The Tenants did not meet the conditions specified in the previous order to pay the rent arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 16, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $2,137.70 plus $66.70 per day starting February 6, 2021 until they vacate the unit. If the full amount is not paid by February 16, 2021, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
