What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous LTB order. Tenants failed to pay full rent for January 2023 and did not pay $800 towards arrears by January 1, 2023, as required by the previous order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective March 31, 2023. Tenants must pay $13,668.91 plus $40.44 per day from March 21, 2023, until they move out. If Tenants don't vacate by March 31, 2023, the Landlord can file for eviction enforcement starting April 1, 2023. The previous order (LTB-L-022831-22) is cancelled and replaced by this order.
