What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's harassment and threats towards Landlord, as well as Tenant's wilful damage to the rental unit.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 10, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $3,534 for the cost of repairing the damages, as well as $201 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 10, 2021, they will start accruing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
