Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants as the Landlords require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 31, 2021. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by that date and pay the Landlords $4,127.76 in compensation for use of the unit from August 1, 2021 to October 20, 2021, plus $50.96 per day from October 21, 2021 until the date they move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by October 31, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
