What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (TEL-15995-21) issued on August 4, 2021. The Tenant failed to pay rent and arrears as required by the previous order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective January 29, 2022. The Tenant must pay $8,408.79 to the Landlord, representing rent owing up to January 18, 2022, NSF charges, and application fees, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenant must also pay $68.52 per day from January 19, 2022, until vacating the unit. If not vacated by January 29, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement.
