What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 18, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,819.08 (less any amounts paid since the application was filed) by February 18, 2022. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by the due date, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by February 18, 2022, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
