Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlords have entered into an agreement of purchase and sale of the rental unit and the purchaser in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for residential occupation.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and Tenants must vacate by November 26, 2022. Tenants are ordered to pay $12,458.63 for use and occupation from May 1, 2022 to September 20, 2022, plus $87.12 per day thereafter until they move out. If not paid by November 26, 2022, interest will accrue at 4% annually.
