What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent and meet conditions specified in a previous order. The Tenants failed to pay $1000 towards arrears by December 20, 2021, and failed to pay the full monthly rent by January 1, 2022, as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 31, 2022. Tenants must pay $8,787.30 plus $49.32 per day starting January 21, 2022, until they vacate the unit. If not paid by January 31, 2022, interest will accrue at 2% annually. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting February 1, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
