What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenants had not paid rent in full by the first of the month 10 times in the last 12 months.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective December 4, 2021. The Tenants must move out by that date and pay the Landlord $1,979.13, which includes compensation for use of the unit, the application fee, and interest if the amount is not paid by the due date. If the unit is not vacated by December 4, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
