What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant paid all arrears owing for the period ending December 31, 2020 after the application was filed. The only amount still outstanding is a portion of the Landlord's cost of filing the application.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay to the Landlord $166.63 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the Landlord the full amount owing on or before January 31, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
