What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not void the N4 Notice by paying the rent arrears and was not present at the hearing.

The ruling

Unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $20,186.00 by April 7, 2024, the tenancy will be terminated. If not voided, the Tenant must move out and pay $12,424.82 to the Landlord, plus daily compensation of $82.19 starting February 29, 2024.
