What happened
Tenant filed applications claiming the Landlord harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with her, entered the rental unit illegally, substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit, and failed to meet maintenance obligations. The Landlord acknowledged some minor breaches of notice requirements for entry, but the Tenant's other claims were largely dismissed.
The ruling
The Landlord was ordered to pay the Tenant a $50 abatement for failing to clear ice on 2018-12-30, a $154.79 abatement for unreasonable repair time, and $90 in application filing fees, for a total of $294.79 to be paid by 2021-10-02. Interest will accrue at 2% annually on any unpaid balance after that date.
