What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants pay $24,186 by August 31, 2022 or $27,186 by September 4, 2022 to void the order. If the Tenants do not pay, they must move out by September 4, 2022 and pay the Landlords $19,723.35 plus daily compensation of $98.63 from August 17, 2022 until move-out.
