What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The Tenants had agreed in writing to vacate the rental unit by June 30, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 30, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $3,807.80, which represents the rent arrears less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit, plus the application filing costs. If the Tenants do not vacate by June 30, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement and the Tenants will owe an additional $54.03 per day in compensation.
