What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that he owes. The Tenant was in possession of the rental unit on the date the application was filed but did not pay the total rent he was required to pay for the period from February 1, 2020 to May 31, 2020.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $3,980.00 in rent arrears and $190.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 10, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
