What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. Landlord also applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant for substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 13, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $34,337.15 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $62.47 per day starting June 3, 2021 until the Tenant vacates the unit. The Tenant must also pay the $190 application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by June 13, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for enforcement.
