What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation by a child of the Landlord.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 30, 2021. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by that date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for enforcement. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $186 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount owing by January 31, 2022, they will owe simple interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance starting February 1, 2022.
