What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The ruling

The tenancy was terminated effective October 28, 2020, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant is ordered to pay $8,639.94 to the Landlords, which includes rent arrears up to the move-out date and compensation, less the rent deposit and interest on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay $190.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the full amount is not paid by January 3, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
