What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord and Tenant reached a consent agreement prior to the hearing.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the new rent as it comes due for the period between August 2021 through to July 2022 in full and no later than the first day of each month. If the Tenant fails to make any one of the payments, the Landlord may apply to the Board to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant without further notice.
