What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 23, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $7,569.85, which represents the rent arrears and compensation up to February 12, 2021, plus $186 for the application filing fee. The Tenant must also pay $31.79 per day for compensation for use of the unit from February 13, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 23, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest and the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
